Make sure my gear is sorted and in good working condition. Fix what ever has broken...,stock plenty of ammo
If money talks; then I got a lot to say i'm on the grind trying to make a hundred thousand dollars a day! We play with big cash and we blowin money fast. I need a G for every light bulb on the Vegas strip!!!

stock pile ammo and decoys practice calling scout make sure the boats still running shoot a lot of clays and fix crap that broke last season

call every day from july to season opener, paint decoys if needed to be painted, make sure you have every thing you need/want if affordable. if your a young hunter like me wanting to get out and do your own thing be the best at calling you can be, i hunt over very few decoys because thats what i can afford i have a dozen mallards and a dozen honker floaters my calling is good, can shoot birds over them all day. be the best you can be.

In February when I'm still into duck mode, season's just over, and I'm bored is when I paint, rig, and repair decoys.
March..I'm working on getting ready to plant seeds.
April...planting
May is mowing
June ¨
July is get the truck fixed up month. Get ready for harvesting too.
In August I start piddling with the boat and trailer making sure it's road worthy and ship shape. Go scout a little for teal and geese.
In September it's honker season and teal.
October...IT'S ON!
November same...
December ARKANSAS CALLS!
January ¨ ¨
Repeat

Get to a sporting clays range and shoot your gun a least a few times before the season. You will enjoy your hunt more killing ducks cleanly and cripple less ducks.
