Barrel Suggestions

Postby Mick Lacy » Fri Feb 01, 2008 8:56 pm

I'm new to waterfowl.I've only went five days and I'm already hooked.I have only got two Canadian Geese. My first one had a band.I'm pretty lucky.I have a 20 gauge 870 express.I would like to get a longer barrel . I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions.

Off the top of my head, Hastings, Remington, and Mossberg all have barrels for Remington guns. As far as 20 guage, I suggest looking them up on their web sites.

Glad to have you aboard!

id look at steppin up to a 12. it packs a lil bigger punch and most of em come with a 28" barrel which is reallly about all you should need. personally, i like a shorter barrel, as i hunt small blinds and tight situations. my 24" swings very nicely.
