Yall guys have your own boat?

Postby jaker » Fri Mar 28, 2008 8:42 am

Wondering if yall have yalls own boats or if you use your dads.

my dad has a g3 with a 50hp yamaha on it. I have been borowing his, but last week finally saved enough money and bought my own. Got a 15/48 alumacraft all weld with a '95 model 35hp evinrude. Cant wait to use it. Gonna start making a collapsable blind this weekend.

i started with a 12 ft grumman aluminum boat. it came green so that made everything easier. it also came with a 8 hp johnson. the first thing i did was swap motors with my grandfathers boat bumping it up to a 15 hp. needless to say, with me (im 6ft 140 lbs) and everything in the boat, i can boogey. it doesnt draw much water either so i can go just about anywhere and when i do run ashore, its like ankle deep.

Dont worry, I re-painted it and looks much better, I used the shotgun painting guide and followed that.

I have a 15ft custom designed john boat. I had it painted camo. its got a 25 horse power mercury and i built a blind with PVC its got a gun box, bilge pump and has complete electric wiring. My dad got the boat it cost 10,000 he designed it with a trolling motor and live well for him he uses a couple times in the summer to fish but other than that its basically mine. I guess you could say i m lucky!
