so far for me and my brother 32 teal 6 woodies 1 coot (if that counts) and 2 mallards hopefully the morning brings me a few mallards

the group has 45 down, mixed bang. I have 13 down. My good friend has 23 down. But we go a lot more than the rest of the group...

TWP you gotta text back sooner lol im bored in the blind. today was slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow we got screwed by two groups that shot all our working birds. at that spot.

shot 31 ducks so far this year. not exactly sure on what the species breakdown is but its something like this.
10 mallards
2 pintails
1 gadwall
18 teal

pretty sure thats how it goes. looking forward to a little leater in the year when we'll start getting the wigeon down.

I am curious about this...in MN it is illegal to shoot a cormorant, in fact the DNR has taken it upon itself to control the species where needed. Texas however, issues a permit for control of these species. How much does that permit cost?
BY the regulations you can only shoot Double-Crested Corm.'s...Neotropic Corm's and Anhinga's are not legal to shoot, and look difficult to I.D., plus why would you shoot anything you aren't going to eat unless it is a nuisance?

Sorry for thread-jacking...just want to know what is up.

Got 2 GWs and one bird that we couldnt find. would have had a few more if it werent for some skybusters to the right 500 yards of us. scared anything that looked like it was going to give me a shot. It was fun.

Been hunting twice so far, season opened Nov. 27, got a Bluebill and a Hooded Merg, shoulda killed a few more but i got caught not paying attention.
