Big river flute. Easiest call to blow and sounds great.

i would go with a shortreed they give more volume and they can be heard from longer away. there a little harder to blow than a flute exspecially if you learned on a flute.

Hey guys,

I got a OLT 77 goose shortreed. I also hav a black magic. If your looking for an easy blowing call, i recommend a shortreed. I use that flute in the early-season when the birds are dumb, but when the real season opend...... i use a shortreed. (more realism)

Good Luck Man

if you want a flute go the big river flute, but my personal suggestion is to get a short reed and learn how to use it, you can get a foiles meatgrinder for $60. its a very good beginner call for a short reed.... the reason i recomend going short reed is the wide vocabulary you get with the short reed versus the flute....if you have any questions just pm me
