how many bands do you guys have. when did you get your first one and if you have a good story of how you got one post them up.

i have one band i got it on 1/23/05 its was a hen mallard. 4 ducks came in to my side of the blind and when i shot i killed a drake dead and crippled the hen on the same shot. kill 2 birds with one stone. awesome she was banded near lake ontario and didn't make the migration. wasn't a year old.

Congrats on your band buddy. I have only been duckk hunting for 3 years. Last weekend there were 4 of us out in the blind when a drake and a hen came into the deekes. We all opened up on em, and the drake was banded. Havn't recieved the paperwork on it yet to see where he was from. We put our names in a hat and drew to see who kept the band.

I got my first one this year after 7 hard years! Had one lone drake come in to a little warm water pond.....he was back peddling and on his way down when my friend shot missed and I shot killed him and he was banded. Also held some green with him....nice little $100 reward band to boot!

Here's the info.
