How many of you...

Postby pgquackstacker » Thu Jan 15, 2009 9:50 am

How many of you guys have something mounted that you killed? If you do let's see some of the pictures. I don't have anything yet but I am going to have a drake Blue-wing by next year. And my brother killed a very mature Eurasian Widgeon.

most of the times ive been out we havent seen much, and the season is almost over, ive only shot 2 mallard, + the two widgeons i doubled and another widgeon, then i shot a crow, and i missed 2 golden eyes, but it depends, some places youll find a place where the birds wants to be,.. remember one time my dad was out hunting, and he shot 25 eiders in 1½ hour then ran out of shells so we went home.. we dont have that many birds where i live most migrate down the west coast, well there is some pretty good duck hunting, but we dont owe any of it unfornutatly, a friend of ours had some, and on opening day they shot 32 mixed puddles in the morning then 17 more in the evening, we have other rules, like only 2 shells for semi and pumps, no bag limit, and we can shoot 1½ hour before sunrise and 1½ hour after sunset.. all the ducks ive shot so far was after sunset..
