My javelina!

I posted this up in the honey hole, but thought I'd post it here too. I'm pretty happy.

Take a look at my javelina. Day one of our hunt found us no pigs...only a rattlesnake I dang near stepped on, but day two was a different story. It was a 260-yard heart shot. Guess all my practice at the range paid off with that shot (and not wearing gloves...haha)! The guys in my hunting group were quite impressed!

haha i agree with ya there, i got my first one mounted with the mouth open and tusks showing, they are cool little animals, but sure are ugly suckers!

Here's the pic of my husbands he got 10+ years ago before I met him that is on my wall. It tends to freak out certain dog visitors and some people too. They really are ugly, but kinda interesting too, but yes ugly.
