A Good Day in VA

Postby tucker301 » Sat Nov 06, 2010 12:52 pm

My buddy and I both had good hunts this AM in VA with the Muzzleloaders.

I shot this one from a tree stand in some oaks...

He got his in some plantation pines using rattle and grunt calls.

Got another one today.
He's a bit smaller, but still a nice buck.

Nice deer brother! Let the air out on one yesterday evening myself. It's definately smokin in central Va. :hammer:

Had another nice 8 pointer nearly run me over this morning.
He trotted up and stopped at 10 feet, broadside!
I already had one bigger and I only have one tag left, so he got a free pass.

Biggest mast crop I've seen in a few years.

Picked up another 6 pointer this AM.
I was still hunting and doing a little walk and wait in the oaks. I had just moved not 30 seconds before this guy showed up just a few yards away from me.
I love these crisp and breezy Fall mornings!

Let them little guys walk and you can tag a nice one like those first bucks every year. Cant argue with a P&Y 8 pointer but think of what you could have...
