Nice lookin fox! And I bet those little piggies will taste great.

Looking at your season totals it seems they let you shoot just about anything over there. I'm on the wrong continent.

Hi, and thanks

That one whit the fox weight about 45 kilos and that one where i'm sitting next to has a weigh about 70 kilos.
Bill Herian, here in Denmark we say the same about US, for us it's seems your have very liberal hunting politic,
but overhere we don't have baglimits, but we may only have 2 shells in the shotguns.

Then you guys are probably better shots. :lol3:

I suppose you use a lot of over/unders or side by side (double barrel) shotguns instead of automatics or pumps?

Not quit my own favorite is a Maverick 88 pump, for waterfowls and a over and under for hunting in the forest,
i also have Baikal mp153 auto and two side by side and two over and under and ofcorse my riffel 6.5x55 swedish.

Looks like you took care of picking up the bacon, the family is all set for some great meals.....nicly done.

Do pelts sell for any money over there like here in the states or is it regulated?

Good hunting and stay safe.

I guess i'll keep the Q&A going.

I see you hunt a mix of waterfowl, big game, and other critters. Is it easy to find places to hunt over there? Are there large tracts of gov't owned land available for public hunting like here in the U.S or do you need private land for the most part? Are there license fees and permits for particular species or is hunting just hunting?

Thanks for sharing! I always like to learn how people hunt in other parts of the world

One more thing, do you eat the Magpies?

Hi montana quackhead
Yes i've had a great season overhere, but it's over for now, but how about you, got some duck's or big game.

Bill Herian
No it's not easy to find good hunting grounds, and it's cost a lot up to 100-150$ pr acres, and there are almost just private land,
and a hunting license cost about 120$, and equipment for hunting also cost, a good box of remington or Blackcloud
in cal 12. 3 inch. cost around 50$. a good round to my 6,5x55 swedish cost 4,5$ in the shop, and i can make it myself for 2$. There are no tags or license fees or limits.

Sorry for english, i dont use a lot
