Western camo pattern

Postby GQ9 » Mon Aug 20, 2012 10:27 am

I am in the final stages of picking a new set of hunting clothes.

I was able to try on at the Minneapolis Cabelas, some of the Sitka Gear stuff in open Country pattern.

Any opinions on this one?

Sitka is amazing. Here in Idaho the open country works very well and seems to be the most popular. It depends on where you are hunting? If its going to be in the forest areas with dark timber. ie. Elk hunting? Then the Forest camo works great. But for most of Idaho being desert type terrain or the foot hills with a lot of sage brush and light color open country works well. Some other good stuff is the Scent Lock in Realtree APG camo.
