BROADHEADS FOR BEARS

Postby birddog crazy » Wed Jul 16, 2014 11:02 pm

I have a new bow setup for this year- PSE FULL THROTTLE 65# 390 grain ARROW WEIGHT and the chrono says 330 fps for a kinetic energy of 95#. question is fixed broadheads like I always shot which I worry about the broadheads planning at that speed and I will test to see or mech's if I have to, and what kind. The other thing is I am also black bear hunting so has to be tough enough for them too. thanks.

I prefer grim reapers or the rage hypodermics for mechanicals... I've only shot deer and turkeys but those broadheads have done good on hogs... At least the pics I've seen on archery talk
