Good ole Wisconsin grouse and woodcock from last week and the week before.

The woodcock was actually a bonus for as late in the season it was.

wisconsin where/ how do you haunt wood cock i live around Lacrosse so anywho do you need a dog where do the live??

Looks like a good week. The woodcock in are thick right now. Too bad it closed on Monday. Had a great weekend on them though. 40+ flushes. Darn birds wouldn't fly above dog hight though. Did get limits on Saturday and Sunday. Did have a first though. My lab kicked four of them up from under one dead fall. Never seen that many woodcock get up at once.

It is the sport of kings nothing better than to watch a good birddog work and to make the shot on grouse zipping thru the brush it was good in UP this time also
