Where can I buy cottontails?

Does anyone know where I can buy cottontail rabbits for beagle training? I've tried googling it but I'm only getting domestic breeds.

you will probably have to trap one. just go shoot some and take the tails to use on whatever you are training with.

Depending on where you live, try to find someone locally that has some penned up. That's how we trained our last 2 dogs and they turned out great.

Domestic San Juan rabbits work well also. Build ya some rabbit gums and trap ya some. Good luck.
