I never knew people hunted squirrles. We shoot them up here just because the will eat the rabbits. What do you shoot them with?

SQUIRRELS EAT RABBITS!!! WOW!!! You fellows on the island got some vicious tree rats. Here in NS they just get in houses and make a darned mess with the insulation and electrical wiring.
Build memories, take a kid out doors and teach them about nature by interacting with it, hunting and fishing.

Learn from the past, don't dwell on it.

In the spring they'll eat the baby ones, so we shoot the squirrels so we can eat the rabbits :salude:

Skin em, quarter them, dip in eggwash, dip in flour/seasoning mixture, fry in skillet and eat. Or do all of the above put in baking dish cover in brown gravy and put in oven for a few hours this will make them extra tender so even game wary eaters will enjoy them.

i took all of these on 1/08/06. they all came from the same tree. this tree is an ol' oak tree that is huge. i have shot probably shot 50 squirrels from this tree over the years. it is great.

news to me, i've never heard of squirrels eating rabbits before. i know that they will eat eggs and young birds. i'd think that coons, foxes and skunks would post a much larger threat to rabbits than squirrels.
