I too go with camo shirt ,pants and a cap. No gloves or mask. Most just wait a shirt and cap in camo. As long as you don't move "too "much, you'll get your shots!

camo

Postby BHUNTER » Mon Aug 28, 2006 9:54 am

with the temperature hanging around 100 i think the camo is staying at home and the wading pool is going

but i usually use light colored clothing tan shorts and shirts if im hunting grain fields and then switch to camo for hunting around ponds.

Basically you can use anything that will blend in or more or less not stand out, we just wore a camo shirt and jean but if your hunting next to sunflower then I highly dout that you should be worried about what you are wearing as they'll be all over ya, most time doves are scared by movement or a shinney gun barrel, put you gun out in the sun and step back and check for shinney spots as to see if you need to camo it or hide it well.

i did have a friend ware his orange upland vest i tryed to talk him out of it but whatever... in the end it really didn't matter or seem to
