I use 7 1/2s with IC. It's deadly! I've found modified to be too much.

7 1/2's through an improved cylinder. If shooting an O/U, definitely I.C. and Modified.

They might get my guns, but they'll get the bullets first !

Normaly 71/2 with an IC. When they start flying higher I change out to a MOD. Last year we hunted a BIG field with roughly 200 people, $20 a person and a 2 hour drive to get there. We ended up arriving a little late and the only spot left was inbetween two parties of Mexicans wearing blue jeans and t shirts. the birds either spotted them moving around and turned or Pedro and Speedy Gonzalos started skybusting. Luckly we still had our shooting box and changed out to XXFull turkey chokes. They were devistating. If they came in to close my daughter and nefhew took them. Pedro`s eyes lit up when I took the first one down at that altitude.

7 1/2's with an IC choke work great for me also. Could shoot my 20 gauge auto all day long at doves. Geez, is it September yet?!!!?
