12 gauge??

12 gauge??

hi guys!! Going on my first turkey hunt this spring been practicing my callin all winter just wondering if a 12 g full choke will do the job im using a #5 shot what range is a good clean kill ? Im guessing no more than 40 yrds what do u guys think???

no reason why it wouldnt work. pattern it on paper then determin how far you can effectivly kill a turkey.

12 gauge and 5s are deadly, I agree, pattern it on paper, just to see where your shot pattern is hitting. You should have NO probems :thumbsup:

Hey! i went turkey huntin a couple years ago and a guy recommended me 3 shot! i dont know if its a big difference or not! that was 20. gauge tho! im sure you will do fine with the 5! good luck this spring and let usknow how u do!
