i have only ever managed one at a time due to the fact that most of them are just visiting my permission theres a big public park next to my permission so the only ones i get have strayed across the road :smile:

You said your season starts in two weeks? What season is that? Squirrels? That seems completely odd to me that there would be any kind of spring hunting for anything other than turkey.....Even in Oklahoma! :huh:

Unless its changed since last year it opens may 15 until january 31 i think

We are gonna have a spring season this year. I dont know why but they are giving us a two or three week season in may.
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.

In Texas they have a two week season on squirrels from May 15-31 or at least they did when I was growing up there 16 years ago, might have changed since then.
If you hunt WITH your kids now you won't hunt FOR your kids tomorrow.

The season has always been like this in Oklahoma for as long as I can remember...I sighted in the .22 and bought a .410 a few months ago but I always end up going fishing instead. :smile:

ive been out afew times but no luck this water is killen us. the only squirels ive seen have been in town.lots of doves though cant wait till september. then its dead bird fetch em up.
