It was actually whole, just stiffened up in a curled position in my game pouch. That's funny, cause I was thinking the same same when I pulled them up!

Gorgeous!! I love a GSP. You don't see many "hunting" Irish Setters any more. Looks like a good crew!

Thanks guys. They both make a great team together. The GSP is a year and a half with last year being his first season. He handled it as well as my 7 year old setter with 6 seasons under her belt.

I got him from a lady who breeds springers for show in the Twin Cities. My family got him more as a family dog, and not really a hunter. I guess he didn't have what it takes to be a show so the lady sold us him cheap to kind of get rid of him so to say. Well it turns out he has a great bird nose, and loves to hunt.
