I will be turkey hunting, and I don't know what gun to use. I have a Remington 870 magnum with a pattern master long range choke, only capable of 3" shells, and I have a Stoeger P350 with all the stock chokes including a turkey choke, this gun can handle 3 1/2" shells. What would you guys (and gals) recommend for a gun, also what type of shot should I use. Thanks for any input.

I would shoot pattern both at about 50yds and see what shoots more consistently. A lot of people shoot lead with no problems but I have heard that non-tox hevi-shot or similar shoots better.

take your 870 go out and by a undertaker turkey choke for it, i will kill a turkey out to 60 yrds with mine, i put one in the 12ga and 20ga. the 20ga patterns as good if not better than the 12ga.
