It is all over here in Nevada, just woundering if any hunters
in Calif are going out on the second half of the season for doves.
On one of my other .com's the guys said there were tons of doves in the area.

I would. To me the best dove hunts are late season as the birds really flock up and it's fairly easy to figure out their flight patterns.
Good luck if you decide to go.

I have yet to go out after them, but I saw a huge flock at Llano Seco when I was hunting there a couple weeks ago, got me going.

I'm in AZ and our late season opens up next week. I'm definitely heading out. I went quail hunting twice last week and I saw a lot of dove. I haven't scouted our usual tanks specifically for dove, but it will make for a fun quail/dove hunt come next week.
