me and my grandfather are thinkin of heading up to somewhere near williams arizona to hunt rabbit and squirrel do u have any tips he will use a 22 rimfire and i will use remington 870 express :smile:

dogs help alot for rabbits with the shotgun. if you dont use dogs, the shots with the 22 will be better. cottontails like to run for 30 yards or so then stop if they arent being chased.

Early in the year and even later on in Arizona the little furbearers are crawling with fleas. I take paper sandwich bags to put game in, squirt some flea killing spray inside the bag then put your game in there and roll it 2-3 time to keep it shut. Consider ticks also. One more thought is that parts of your state and mine protect some tassell eared squirrels. Double check before you hunt and make sure you are covered!

Hickory & oak trees are the best place to find your squirrel's.

For rabbit's I like to find big brush piles to stomp around they seem to hold them rabbit's good.
