For now I have to put my toys away. Here is my vest; a browning strap vest. I put in a water bladder for me. Two bottle holders for the dog.

I'll be back after Blue's in october and trying for spruce as well in Washington. That is a nice setup on the vest  I bought a backpack with water bladder for a ptarmigan trip and use it for everything since then.

Last weekend, I took a group up to hunt mushrooms in our local mountains. Also, to get a little scouting in. Saw a lot of sign of grouse. The area is lush and you can see where they had been feeding, preeing and such. Here is a photo of gooseberries - a favorite food of grouse.

Here are some Elderberries - "Choke Cherries".

This is the area that I camp at when either hunting mushrooms or grouse. It sits at around 9,000 feet. The ride doesn't look too bad either.
