Any of you southern boys catchin' any of them bucketmouths yet? Gotta be gettin' close don't it? Here's my biggest from last spring. Probably a minner to you fellas.

they are just now starting down here, caught 2 3 pounders yesterday evening, but they are still very sluggish, end of next month should be getting good. btw nice fish.

Caught my first big one last weekend. She hit the scales at 11 pounds 11 ounces. Very nice fish. caught some nice fish in the 4-6 pound range but it's really just startin up for the big girls !!!

That is a large bass.
They are still pretty sluggish here, hanging out under 2 feet of ice!
Actually the largemouths feed pretty heavy in the winter. I've caught some pigs (by WI standards) on big gold shiners set for pike.
