What ep? I usually bring 6' rods. Spinning and baitcast. I mostly just use floating rapalas. Throw a line out and troll around. I fish with my now 12 yr old son and started going when he was 8. I pinch my barbs incase he snags me. Never happened yet and very seldom lose a fish because of it.
