Cold Spell

Postby goosetalk » Wed Apr 04, 2007 10:42 am

Well, we are experiencing typical weather here in Missouri, 76 at 11 a.m. on April 3, 35 at 11 a.m. on April 4. A buddy and I were planning a bass fishing trip on friday, but the cold spell will last into the weekend. We are 99% sure that we are still going. Anyone got any tips for finding the bass and what lures are best. We will be fishing a river, deepest part is 15 feet, we know where several drop offs are. The river has a little bit of everything from chunk rock, creek gravel, standing timber, and stump flats. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Has the weather been warm and then just turned cold. If so thats the way it is here. Its been 85 plus for the past week and now its going to be 68 and down to the thirtys at night for the next few days. Im not doing anything different the bass have been on the beds and arent going anywhere because of a little snap. Fish where they have been
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.

Know your target before you pull the trigger.

Duck Hunting is ALL about the bag.
