Caught a few over the weekend

Postby SCoutdoorsman » Mon Jun 13, 2005 4:48 pm

Got off early Fri about 3 and caught 8 keepers in 2 1/2 hours and then went back Sat for about 4 hours and kept 17 more. Fried them all up Sat night and had a good ol cook out. Didnt get pics of them all but here is some. Caught some nice big daddy bass and a couple 3-4 lbs bass.

What they biting up in SC? I caught a nice mess of bass and a few bream on a small curly tail grub on a jig head the other evening. It was fun as all get out, because I was using an ultralight rod, and light line. Every fish felt like a monster. :salude:

Fri just fished with a beatle spin (orange body black strips) and all day sat I caught all my bass on pumpkin seed green worm (no weight, slow reel)

SC it's tough to beat a good old beatle spin. If you can't catch on a beatle spin, you might as well hang it up 'cause they ain't biting.
