Stouff, you are awfully relentless!

Over teh fourth we caught 30 bluegills (3 of which were the oh so pretty pumpkinseeds) I also caught a nice 6 lb smallmouth. The walleyes are really hard to find on our haunt.

I’ve been trolling for walleyes late in the afternoons over the weekend, so far I’ve caught two, the biggest was 8lb the other was 5 something. While out there the small mouth have been hitting as well, they cook up nice.

This time of year the bride can’t turn her back, if she takes her eyes off of me she knows I’m history. After 25yrs she knows. “Don’t expect me, until you see me”. That applies for duck season too.

Water temps are finally starting to come down and I've managed to get out musky fishing twice this week. I boated 2 the other day and 1 yesterday. Just little ones a 34" and two 32", but it's nice to get back out on the water.

I'm taking my last trip out in the Salmon boat on Sunday. It comes out for winter drydock on Tuesday. Next week is the opener of our Northern season ducks. After that its off to the Niagara and Buffalo harbor for the fall lunge. .....Gotta love those toothy monsters.......
