Fish Finders

I'm currently looking hard at the Eagle 320C color ff, the Eagle 480 and the Lowrance X96. They are all around $200, having a hard time deciding. The idea of being able to afford a color screen seems pretty cool. Has anyone used any of these units? I know the brands have always seen dependable but I don't know anyone who has experience with the specific units.

I have had the Lowrance 337df for 3yrs now and
have other color and B/W units too.....
while I will say the color unit is easy to see in the day
and night too.. the monochrome or B&W units still do
the same job... they see the same thing color units do.
in the ocean seeing bait fish and larger fish is helpful, but
for lakes my monochrome unit does just fine seeing the
fish and the thermoclines for lake fish.....
unless you have the extra 100.00 for color I would spend
it on a gps instead... I fish big lakes out here, and marking
and being able to go back to that spot is key sometimes...
plus I can run around in the dark without worries....
GPS with the fishfinder is a better trade off....

well, I don't need a gps because I fish smaller lakes.
