Tips for flounder fishing??

Postby 1ynggun » Mon May 19, 2008 7:12 pm

Any info. for some flounder fishing would be greatly appreciated. I am heading to the VA shore to go in the bay and sound, hopefully coming back with a grill full of flounder. Thanks.

Dont know about there but we just got back from venice and we found flounder around the isolated cane islands.
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.

Know your target before you pull the trigger.

Duck Hunting is ALL about the bag.

Just saw the post, hopr it's not too late....

If mullet are running, use a live mullet on a Carolina Rig (deadly). If mullet are scarce, go for mud minnows as bait on a Carolina Rig.

Fish around pier pilings, or at the dead/changing tide on points.

Good Luck!
