Postby huntnful » Thu May 29, 2008 6:43 pm

Last night I fish from 7:30 to 9:00 P.M. with a buzz bait and landed 14 bass, biggest one being 3 pounds 10 ounces and I also had six more hooked and lost them. It was a ton of fun. Just lettin you guys know that the buzz is on.

You think the buzz bait works, you should put on a horny toad.

I think the toad works better after the buzz bait drops, the slower presentation makes for a better reaction strike. But there's not much better than that early morning sun coming up calm day buzz bait strike.

I like them both but the toad is by far my favorite. Even when throwing a buzz If I have a blow up Ill drop the buzz and throw in the horny toad with much success.
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.

Know your target before you pull the trigger.
