One of my friends here hooked his fiancé and then married. He said that was one time he did not practice catch and release. She is fine also, No chance I would have thrown her back.

The hook going in isnt as bad as pushing the barb through to cut it off.

grab the needle nose and snactch it out the way it went in. i've been unfortunate enough to be hooked several times and this method seems to work the best.

hehehe, hooked on fishing, thats a good one... and i personally witnessed a similar happening, a friend and i were fly fishing and he managed to catch himself in the ear. I laughed, and he was in pain. pretty easy to cut off the barb and get it out, but he lost a good fly in doing so.
