Anyone know any general public spots to go that are fair to decent from land without a boat?

Thanks for the help,

Aaron

If you are anywhere near Ft.Eustis or Ft. Story, there are plenty of spots on base for you to go. I fished there when I went to school and had a great time. However, out of that estuary I would catch and release, too much contaminents there! Had an absolute blast, especially for a northern guy who had never fished for them before. You'll also catch alot of other fish too, speckled trout, skate, redfish, and some others I couldn't even tell you anymore without a fish book handy! Good luck, SSG Winter
