Not true, the record was caught in 1977 at Banks Lake weighing in @ 11lbs 9ozs.

No good pics yet this year for me. My partner caught a nich 6.5 pounder in a tournament a few weeks ago and saturday we caught 25 but only 2 were big enough to weigh  I caught the heck out of some short fish though. I'm leavin thursday night to head down to lake guntersville in AL for a tournament, there's plenty of big ones down there so hopefully i'll come back with some good pics
Any day that starts with a cold boat ride is a good one

I knew Guntersville would come through with some big ones. Here's two that i caught saturday, the big one weighed 7.32lbs my biggest fish ever and the big fish of the tournament  The other one was 3.82 i think

I didn't even measure it. I was on my friends boat and he only had a 15in ruler. I'm wishing i had measured in now though... Where do you keep catching those monsters, or is that classified information?

Me and a buddy did work on the bass the 4 and 5's looked tiny compared to this guy. We caught a 4, 4, and 5 for our first fish and then left to go to another pond and caught this monster followed by a 5.5. We guessed him at 7 or 7.5 one of those rare days in two farm ponds. Three of 'em. That's my buddy he swears by pflueger reel/rods, and the terminator T-1 and I can't argue the results. Maybe not big for you pro's but a damn good fish in Kansas

Here is one I caught 2 weeks before I deployed here to Iraq. Yes, she was full of eggs, and yes, withing 30 seconds after she came out of the water, she went right back in it after I made sure she was able to swim off...It's a shame that I had to give the play by play but i didn't want some tree hugging faggot to get mad. While you're at it, go ahead and chastise ME for fighting in the war to secure YOUR FREEDOM
