First fish of the year

Postby Wld Fowl » Tue Mar 10, 2009 7:45 pm

I took my son out on Sunday and caught a mess of bluegills. He caught the first one on the first cast in about two minutes of stopping. The first fish he caught was about 1/4 of a ounce shy of a citation.

Looks like some good eating to me. Great to see young people out fishing.
It's a fact that 70 percent of the people who purchase heavier tackle do so with the categorical I just lost a huge snook! Einstein Hairdo. The other 30 percent have either Tarpon Fever or are sporting a hand cramped into a claw from a deepwater grouper.
