does anybody have any luck with those lures you see in magazines that have a light that simulates blood, or the walking worm. They say they are banned in wyoming and possible canada. Just curious if they work

I've wondered the same thing. I always see one in Field and Stream and Outdoor Life that says it's banned from tournaments, but there's no way I forking out for it. Seems like a gimmick to me.

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

Someone once gave me a few walking worms to try. I did for a few hours and didn't get anything, where as I'd usually get a number of bass if I was using my normal zoom trick worm. I'm sure fish can be caught on them but what cjg said most likely applies.

I ve only had luck fishing the walking worm on nesting lm bass. Works pretty good then, otherwise Its not worth a damn and Id rather throw on a sluggo or a senko.
Tried the banjo minow too. Small ones work real well for smallies or crappy, but otherwise not very good either.

If you go to http://gf.state.wy.us/downloads/pdf/fishregs.pdf
. Page 8 you will see the only reason that it is not legal in wyoming is that it is not legal to take fish by the aid of artificial light or lighting
device. This law has been in place for years. It is a scam!!
