What size atv

Postby quack-quack » Mon Jun 23, 2014 7:41 pm

I need an atv for some new deer land I joined but I don't have a lot to spend! I've been trying to trade/sell my mud motor but until then I'm just searching for cheaper options.
All I really need is something to drag out a deer. I can cut up a trail and won't have any bogs or stumps to go over, it may rain and get wet but I can always get off and adjust it.
I have a little plastic sled I bought at cabelas, Will a 150cc be enough to tow the sled with a deer in it?

150 will be ok but 250 would be a better option

Honestly, You should at least go with a 300 to 500.
You won't regret it. Because if you buy a smaller CC, at some point you'll wish you had bigger.
If you dont want to spend a lot of money, look for a decent used one. There out there.
I have a '97 Honda 300. It suits me fine and does what I need it to do. But there are times I wish I had a little more speed or power. Luckily my Dad has a Can-Am 650. So I'm covered.
Good Luck in your search
