hiking?

how many of you guys go hiking? i have only been on two 50 milers... but its pretty fun! plus i just turned 16 so i still have alot of years to go

yes i hike...my plane broke here in washington so being in the airforce they put me and the other members of my crew up in a hotel till its fixed... i hiked the trails of the olypic mountains thursday and then mount rainier up to Camp Muir yesterday...very good time...first time out west for me and am considering moving after the past week and a half out here...

Ha ha. I'm not a deer hunter but is that what you call a "drive" or "push"? I've seen elk hunters in Colorado doing that in major terrain.

No, I hike doing spot and stalk. (You hike to a place where you think you can see deer, then get close enough for a shot.)
A drive is when you have a group of hunters go through an area of thick cover in a line, then one sits behind to kill a deer that sneaks out behind them. In some case they also have a guy go up and watch the front of the cover too.

I'm a hiker. Live in Seattle. Longest hike, did 1000 miles of the PCT in California from july to sept in 2009. Started at Walkers pass and came out in Castella. It was epic.
