Postby keith96 » Wed Aug 14, 2013 7:20 pm

i had never shot trap much ,just going to shoot a round hear and there.i never did all that well. well last weekend i went to a 100 bird trap shoot.i had a blast i took a gun i just bought for duck hunting and i shot a 76 out of 100. it was so much fun i ended up placing 5th in my class .i was 5 birds away from 3rd . my dad used to shoot regesterd birds in the ata and i went with him all the time . i now convinced him to let me join the ata nxt session . i cant wait im soo hooked on trap. i think i miss the competitive aspect from my days of archery comp.

It does not cost that much to join the ATA and those shoots are a lot of fun and you can make a lot of friends
at the shoots and also learn a lot of stuff , just depends on where you are at.
Maybe you might get into doubles also but singles and HDCP are plenty if you re low on ammo..........

Where do you shoot....... east, central, west coast ?

Good shooting.
