Never shot skeet, trap, or sporting clays so I don't have an average.

SC = average of high 60s, I hardly ever shoot though and it is on the full course aqnd the toughest in the state. 5 stand SC is at least 15 better.

Skeet = low 80s, again I hardly ever shoot though.

As far as trap, it is too boring for me. First time I shot trap at 16 yd marker, I was 12 and shooting a .410, I shot a 17/25. Enough said.

Well, let's see. In competition, my best was a 134/150 in olympic skeet .I also shoot occasionaly olympic trap & double trap, but haven't entered any competitions there yet. I have a few straights (very few) in ol. skeet (but only in training), and one straight 25 in a 5-stand competition, that still didn't give me the trophy. (The other round was a 19).

last night skeet league 24/25 missed my option on low house 8. would have been perfect. still can't figure out what i did.

Then i followed up that perfomance with a brilliant 21 :pissed:

oh well brought my average to just over 22.

i am kinda embarrased to post my averages up. i shoot skeet and trap more than anything at a local range but try and make a couple SC ranges throughout the off season. we have some really great places within 1 hour drive from where i live...

i don't keep strict tabs on my scores because i do it for practice for hunting only. i usually don't miss on trap but occasionally something crazy happens. skeet is about the same but low 8 (center) can be tough sometimes. realistically, i would say maybe 24/25 on trap and 23/25 on skeet. (please understand i am guesstimating.) one time i actually drew a crowd at the local rod & gun club cause i went through almost 5 complete rounds on the skeet range without a miss. (#8 low house got me on the 5th round.)

SC's are a little different. i shoot those ranges no more than 3 or 4 times annually and usually am in the low 80s. my highest scoring round was a 91/100. i was actually surprised because i couldn't remember missing but 2 or 3 clays and really thought i had a run at a perfect score through the 1st 5 stations.

a funny story about that...i went to a SC range with a couple of buds a couple of years ago and (like a moron) forgot my choke tubes. of course, i left the full in the gun from patterning some turkey loads a couple of weeks previous. i was ecstatic to pull off a 79 and to date, i claim that as my best round ever! it was tough...
