Gov to track Ammo sales???

Subject: Taking our Ammo

SEND THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW AND ASK THEM TO CONTACT THEIR REPRESENTATIVES......... THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED DEAD IN ITS TRACKS.........

Remember how Obama said that he wasn't going to take your guns?
Well, it seems that his minions and allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo!

The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture and a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers.

Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded. Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including handloaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!

If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington.

The bill in Calif. was changed and this was dedeated..........

the senate knew the bill would never pass and all the other stuff would go down the drain, so this part was omited to let the other parts of the bill pass.

Hope this is how it will work out in the other states.

This ammo accountability only pertains to Hand gun ammo. Shotguns and rifles are not yet in. It won't take them long to figure that out.

But what about 9mm and 45acp rifles and 22lr ammo is sold in bricks of 500 and used as much in handguns as rifles? This is a really stupid way to try and drive up ammo cost. One comment I heard on this was that it would add about $0.20 to each round of ammo sold so 50 rounds of 9mm just went up $10 and a brick of 500 22 ammo would go up $100.

Gotta love the Demon-crats.
