Foot hold snares?

Postby gregwile » Thu Apr 22, 2010 6:30 am

Have any of you tried the Bellisle 6" foot hold snares? If so what is your opinion, do they work well? I just bought 2 of them to give a try this fall. I have snared black bears with the Aldrech type foot snare and had good success with that so I'm hoping these work just as well.

Never tried them greg. I know the bear ones work though. One of the students did an internship in Montana or somewhere up there and they caught quite a few bears. Good luck with em and let us know how they work out.

I will do that. My target animals will be coyote, fox and bobcat. One trapper here has tried them with some success but he said he needed to use them more before he said yea or neigh to them.
