getting started

Just getting started with predator hunting and was wondering if there is any tips on how to tan hides any good books i should check out and if there are any fur buyers in the northeast.i don't like to waste animals but I also don't like cayotes. Any help or info would be appreciated thanks

Will be hunting with a 12 gauge and I am thinking about picking up a rifle but not sure what caliber thinking 223

I use Mberg's 835 and CZ's 527 American in .223.With the 12 gauge I like 3 " 4 buck with Kick's High Flyer XF -.748 constriction.That's as tight as I can go with buckshot.With BB's for smaller furbearer's I use Mberg's Ulti choke- .795 but for coyote I prefer buckshot.The CZ has a 1/12 twist so I use bullets between 40-55gr.Most shots in the more open hardwoods are well within 100 yds so I stay pretty close to the start loads with the rifle.
