It is a goal of mine to get at least one nice cat in my life. maybe a couple as there are no shortage of them in the state (finding them is another story.)

anyone here hunt them big boys? any advice you could give me would be great. we can't use dogs or bait here in Oregon, calls are legal.

Find someone with good cat hounds and the getting of a lion will become much easier  It is my understanding that some of the better cat hunters also run an airedale with their pack as the airedales are much more aggressive fighters than the hounds.
Build memories, take a kid out doors and teach them about nature by interacting with it, hunting and fishing.

we're working on being able to hunt cougars with dogs, but currently the powers-that-be have put a stop to that.
