Quackersmacker, i've wanted to hunt that area since i only live about 4hrs from there- i'll have to check it out!

Tyman1876:
I played gobbles and then hen clucks back and forth for 10 minutes. He came on a fast trot down the side of a mountain. At this time last year I had a few that came in to turkey sounds.

Tyman: Thanks, it was in pretty good shape. Try the turkey sounds next month. It seems to work best in March/April or when you start to see turkeys strutting or hear them gobbling.
Finalnotice, have you ever considered a hen turkey decoy with a flapping broken wing? Or anyone for that matter? I don't know about you guys but I've lost three old school inflatable turkey decoys to bobcats, and think one may have been a coyote! Every time we leave those things out and would return for an evening hunt, bam, destroyed and popped with needle mark holes in the neck and head. Never tried it for dogs, but man I bet someone could make some money and kill some predators.
