Thought I'd post this up here as well....

Research into drug resistant heart worms...
lets help out if we can to protect our gun dogs..


"Although many domesticated dogs are inoculated against heartworm, it's a common ailment in coyotes, and biologists want your help in studying the phenomenon. Researchers at the American Museum of Natural History in New York are asking whether a drug-resistant heartworm could be developing among inoculated pets. Here's where you come in: Many states are asking hunters to remove the hearts from any coyote they kill, place it in a plastic sandwich bag and store it in the freezer for collection by a U.S. Dept. of Agriculture biologist. to learn more, log on to:"
