Insurance

I've seen that suv's are expensive to insure. Is the same true w/ trucks? Say, a garden variety Chevy 1500, Ford F150, Dodge Ram? Or do most insurers treat them like cars? I want to know what I would be getting into switching from a car to a truck, besides the higher registration & costlier tires (I'm aware of those).
I'm the guy your Mother Goose warned you about.

I went from driving a Ford Mustang to driving a Dodge Ram and my insurance only went up one dollar.

I drive a big 4 wheel drive truck and my wife drives an expedition and our insurance is only like 130 bucks a month. The suvs are really not that bad to insure, and the truck should be no different from your car depending on what you get. Also age, marriage status, number of policies, driving records, and many other things determine the price you pay.
