It Runs!

Postby ajmorell » Tue May 04, 2010 11:49 am

Well after over a year of not running (seized up engine in Jan 2009), my Jeep is all back together and running quite well now, sure is nice to have it back.

Did you do an engine swap or rebuild the one you had?

Nice looking jeep

Both. I bought a junkyard engine and had it built up. The block I had needed a lot of machine work and I wasn't sure if the head survived being overheated or not.

I know the feeling, put a new engine in my 1999 ISUZU trooper, glad to have it back.
