Anyone here ever built a hotrod?

Postby justsomeguy » Sun Jun 16, 2013 4:51 pm

I've been working on this for a couple years now. Right about 3000 hours into it at this point. I personally did every bit of work to this, from the powder coating to suspension design to machine work on the engine. Hoping to be driving it next summer.

Is that an alternator hanging off the quick-change?

I'm not a hot rod guy, but as a former race car fabricator, I've helped my son on his Morris Minor, chopped, custom frame and suspension, turbo Ford 4-cyl. It's been in the works for about 8 years and is about half done.

Been there, done that, 4 years labor and lots of money into a 1939 Olds coupe. see it on carnut.com its the purple chopped top coupe. It was featured in Streetrodder magazine 5 years ago and it looks as good today as it did then

Would love to see an update on your ride if possible thanks
